A good bowl of Cantonese porridge is one where the grains are cooked down to a smooth and creamy texture. I have developed a taste for Century Egg & Lean Meat Congee 皮蛋瘦肉粥 recently. The wantons are plump with bits of prawn and the noodles are well-cooked but the soup is rather bland. Shrimp Wanton Noodle 鲜虾云吞面 is a classic Cantonese noodles dish. I have been craving for dim sum recently, so I decided to try out Treasures Yi Dian Don’s outlet at the basement of Paragon Shopping Centre.
